The park is what it is, but the 2017 dinosaur theme is just to cringy and out of place. The Confederate history is swept under the rug entirely and replaced with fossil records.

Beautiful place for a walk/run/hike. Anything else is a waste of money.

I would have given this a much higher rating if we had been able to eat as we expected. Only 2 locations to eat were open. After we walked the ENTIRE park going to every restaurant we wanted to eat to find it closed, we had to settle on the absolute crap food at the "big rock cafe" where drinks are NOT included in the combo, fries were cold, burger was cold (cheese wasn't melted). We had our hearts set on an actual meal like campfire or the BBQ place. Sad that in summer they don't offer at least something other than the junk... read more

The Laser show was awesome! We also went kayaking in the lake. It was fabulous!

We lived in Georgia from 2007 to 2010 and every time family came to visit we brought them to Stone Mountain. What a beautiful, amazing place to discover the history of the Southern United States.
