What can I say about the Stone Brewery? I've been consuming their delicious products for years and I finally get a chance to have it from the source! The Bistro is a fabulous place! Wide open spaces, with a great setup! Tons of outdoor room so you can bask in the San Diego Sun! And the food! Scrumptious! I had the Spice Lamb Sausage Dish, and let me tell you, it was great! If you're near Point Loma, you've got to try it out!
Food was good service and knowledge of the menu by wait staff was horrible! Our server didn't know what was on the menu when asked about certain items and service is slow!
Love this place and Liberty Station! Sat outside during the recent heat wave, had a couple of Brewskis while ignoring the debate! Went over to Cold Stone creamery for some sweets and walked around. Nice romantic evening!
Place is nice however they take forever to serve your drinks.
My husband and I had to stop in as we served Stone IPA at out wedding back in 1998 before they were so huge. Love, love, loved the whole atmosphere, food and of course the beer. Had not been back to the area since 2005. Glad we did.
Didn't like the service go to the one in Escondido.
I had a great time there with some great company. I am not a beer fan, but they have over 40 different beers to choose from that they brew so it's popular for that and their FOOD! Which is what I loved! I had the Grill cheese, tomato soup, and green salad with the house dressing, but wait a MINUTE, this is not your normal grilled cheese. My sandwich was the Balsamic-Fig Jam Grilled Cheese. Description was an Aged Pt. Reyes blue and Dunbarton cheddar, house-made crazy-delicious balsamic-fig jam and chives on buttered levain. ... read more
Imperial stout was perfect! We came to drink and left with growlers full of IPA.
