I was honored with a chance to take the Intro to Borosilicates class at Stone Arch Studio. I was very impressed with this class. I was able to feel safe and informed before I got my chance to try the torch. I would highly recommend this to family, friends or anyone interesting in expanding their knowledge of glass or the art of blowing glass!!
I do some wholesale purchasing from Stone Arch for the company I work for. Yesterday I was able to attend the first Glass blowing class they are offering to the public. The instructor, Tom, did a great job of explaining the basics of how to work with glass. I really appreciated that they spent time going over the equipment and how the gas tanks worked before throwing me into it. The road to a headie career in glass art starts at Stone Arch.
