Dr. Stoever is knowledgeable, competent and very thorough. His bedside manner leaves something to be desired; but, I'm okay with it. My only serious complaint is that neither he nor his staff automatically follow up subsequent to lab work or tests that he has ordered for you. Even 2-3 weeks after these events, no one had contacted me with results; so, I had to call them.

I've been a patient for a while and think Dr. Stoever is an excellent doctor. He listens and answers my questions. I would definitely recommend him.
I have been a patient of Dr Stoever for over 13 years! I have parathyroid and thyroid disorders and he goes above and beyond to try to help me to have the best life possible. My co-morbidities make me a difficult, complex, and "interesting" patient (my team of doctors words), but Dr Stoever takes the time each encounter we have to listen and answer my many questions. He may seem stoic or even stoic, but underneath that facade is a caring, intelligent, and knowledgeable dr I plan on keeping!
I have been going to Dr. James Stoever and am very pleased with him. He is a very caring doctor and treats my diabetes with care. I would recommend him to anyone.
