Went to see Dr Stoever to get help with my roller coaster blood sugar levels that I could not seem to get under control on my own. He spent a lot of time with me, asked lots of questions and took down notes as I spoke and he came up with a new insulin injection plan for me to use. Will see him again in a month to check my progress. He was very thorough and explained things in great detail which I greatly appreciated!
He’s very rude!! He comes in no smile on his face acts like it’s a chore to even be there.. frankly he’s not an easy Dr. to talk to. Very intimidating … he has no sympathy for you!! I usually don’t complain about Dr.’s but I will on this one!! Don’t waste your time find someone who really cares and that will listen to you!
Dr. Stoever doesn't care about his patients. He is the only doctor that didn't check my vitals or even bother to interact with me about my diabetes. I brought in my labs and a chart of foods and glucose numbers and he couldn't care less, he barely looked at them and said don't eat this. I drove 1 hour and a half to see him and he couldn't take the time to discuss anything that was new for diabetics because he doesn't know or care to know. I went to Dr Stoever office about 2 and a half years ago. After having a very fast heartbeat, blood pressure was up all the time. I went to my primary and she had a blood test done. And an ultrasound on my thyroid. I really didn't know what was going on. She referred me to Dr James Stoever of Savannah,Ga. Great physician! A teacher as well as a clinician. Thorough. Nicest staff!
Told me he wouldn’t “waste his time” on my labs and explaining them to me, also disagreed with my primary care and refused to explain why just said they were wrong. Very unprofessional and condescending.
He is very patient with me and has already made a great change in my numbers with his great knowledge.
Love Dr. Stoever and his staff, have been a patient for several years now and have always been treated wonderful.
Dr. Stoever is a caring and great doctor. He works very hard to get his patients on the right track medically. Other reviews said he was rude as well as his staff were rude. Being there just yesterday, I find this totally untrue. Possibly the patient wanted a “babysitter “ for their condition and not a physician. Dr. Stoever has helped me so much with my medical condition. I cannot thank him enough. He is a FIRM and knowledgeable physical. I completely recommend him!
