great bbq it was good brisket and ribs were tender
My family moved to Houston just last summer. We are huge bbq fans but were disappointed with the bbq restaurants that had been recommended. HOWEVER, ONCE WE TRIED STOCKYARD BBQ, I INSTANTLY POSTED "WE JUST FOUND THE BEST BBQ IN HOUSTON". The wife a daughter loved the beef and I fell in love with the ribs! STOCKYARD BBQ IS DELICIOUS! ! ! !

Delicious! There's nothing like Texas BBQ in Texas. It's different coming from L.A.
My wife and I went to Stockyard on the 4th of July for the 1st time. The friendly staff and great food made it the best meal in many a year. The manager came to our table and explained how the ribs were cooked and you could see his passion when he spoke, and it showed in the food. We will be making a special trip to Houston just to go to Stockyard form Baton Rouge very soon. The food was so good we got racks to go just to have back home.
