Bought a King Size bed with split box springs and new 2,500 mattress. With the factory provided side rails the box springs would not catch one end or the other edge so the factory frames were set too far apart. So we converted the metal side rails to wood side rails and installed the GS3X for 100.00 and it stopped the expensive mattress from sagging and made the bed super sturdy and way more comfortable!
