My husband and I were celebrating our 11 year anniversary. The initial greeting was fantastic, all the appetizers were great, however, when our meal came out, that’s when we started having issues. My steak was overcooked, and the manager was very friendly about going back to get a new one. I had high expectations for STK Steakhouse in San Diego, but the experience fell short in several ways. The steak was overcooked and of noticeably low quality. I sent it back — something I almost never do at a high-end steakhouse. Portions were small; I’m petite and usually satisfied with a 4oz filet, but their “6oz” filet was much smaller than what I’ve been served elsewhere.
