Bouncers gave us attitude – I had my birthday party at Stitch recently- it was a good place to gather a group of friends for a casual night out. However, though the website makes it look like a no frills place, they forced everyone in my party to check their coats, and the bouncer started swearing at a friend of mine who was taking his time to get to the coat check. If he had asked nicely, I probably wouldn't be writing this negative review.
Eureka- Stitch – Been looking for a place in midtown forever, and when I stumbled upon Stitch, I couldnt believe it... From the expansive appearance of the place, to the attentive staff, to the killer DJ who can play any song of any genre you're looking for, it was just awesome. Keep my seat, I'll be right back to stitch ! – Found this new spot through you guys at Citysearch. Thank you. I work for a very well known clothing line just around the corner. The whole office after work crew are SO HAPPY that stitch has opened. We now have a local place of our own to meet and and gossip about work ! Food is good, staff are better, vibe is the best of all. No drama, no attitude, no problem. Thanks you guys at Stitch. Keep my table, my little party posse are coming back SOON !
What a great new bar ! – I booked my company's office party and i was amazed at he great help in arranging my party and the service on the day of our event. My fellow employees had a fantastic time and we are already looking to arrange another one at stitch soon. The staff were really fantastic and friendly. Prices were very reasonable and the music was SPOT ON !!! Thanks stitch, see you very soon.
best bar near Penn station – I have been coming in and out of Penn Station every day for years. Love a drink after work but always cursed the lack of decent watering holes in and around that area. Thankfully Stitch has filled that gap. Good big space, good music, lighting & some very attractive staff...... I had the Pizza the other day and it was really good.
Stitch is an awesome bar – I hosted an event for Cornell alumni last week, so I had to do some preplanning. Nick couldn't have been more helpful and careful, making sure he had the right numbers and times. The people workng at Stitch were just as great: everyone was smiling, in great sprits, willing to help out, giving us extra tables when we needed, and making sure none of us were thirsty or hungry. This roomy and regal sports bar and lounge is just what the garment district needed. – Grabbing a drink with co-workers in midtown usually means sipping a Bud in a humdrum Irish pub, but Stitch is here to change that. Stay away from stitch – They ran out of martini glasses and served my group in small wine glasses. My glass contained about 1" of liquid and it was luke-warm. Why bother with a happy hour if you're only going to offer $1 off mixed drinks. Overpriced and lousy service, we waited 30 minutes for the bill and the music was too loud to hold a conversation. I liked the decor, but it wasn't enough for me to return.
