Wow: After asking everyone where the hot spot was in the Gaslamp District, I was sent to the classy Stingaree. I was outside and was like wow this must be the ish. There were many people attempting to get inside via the guest list and I couldnt understand why, since me and my date walked right in using the regular line. Until I got inside.... We planned a wonderful bachelorette evening for our girlfriend and were very disappointed with Stingaree. Worst management team Ive ever had to deal with. Dont believe the hype.

Not recommended without a vip pass. Ridiculous dress code, I'm a very stylish guy I never ever got turndown, for wearing boots! Are you kidding me.. The doormen asked to lift my jeans up and said they don't allow timberline shoes in! First of all I would never wear them if they were given to me for free! Idiot they were harly Davidson boot they cost more then your whole outfit put together. Know your fashion sense before you guys turn people down.

Plus, I'm not really a "club girl" But if you're in the Gaslamp and want a fun place to hang out at- this is a entertaining bar. My favorite part was the rooftop.
I had a really horrible experience at this club. I rented their Hummer limo & also reserved a cabana for my sisters 30th Birthday. I didnt know you had to be rich to party in this club. We spent over \$1,000 & the bouncers & staff treated us like we were poor. One bouncer even said, "we have people who spend \$10,000 in this club." They tried to cheat me out of one appetizer tray & were just plain rude! This was 2 years ago & I havent been back since!!! Oh, & everything is ridiculously expensive so be prepared to spend lots ... read more
