Our sweet 14yr old Ivy had to suddenly be put down this week. We have not had her for more than 6 months but it felt like she has always been with us. The decision to let her go was a painful but necessary due to the sudden, fast acting decline in her health. We gave her 6 months full of love, comfort, and new experiences. When it comes time to say goodbye to your fur babies it’s never an easy process. Our handsome Sammy was in the end stages of kidney failure and we had to make the difficult decision to end his suffering. I made the phone call on a Wednesday for an appointment for Friday.
