I am having the worst experience referring my friends to this product and them not getting their 50 dollar credit. In addition, everyone in the customer service chat appears unconcerned and disengaged. Myself and four of my friends/family are ready to get started on our projects however the promotion for referrals appears to be a scam. Not sure.. never had this hard of a time spending thousands of dollars..

Oye vey! I just purchased stikwood to place around the counter in my kitchen. Well, this "easy" project turned out not to be so....it's all fine and good if you only use the precut pieces. I used a hacksaw with teeny teeth, the wood splintered and a couple split horizontally. I used a jigsaw and it split more pieces, long and short horizontally. Well, that isn't going to work? It’s easy to use and looks great! The only warning I will say is don’t place Stikwood on a surface with flat paint. We had just remodeled our basement and had the walls skim coated. We painted the wall with a flat brown paint so white walls would not show through the imperfections in the wood. On the first try, the Stikwood peeled right off. We then painted over that with an eggshell finish paint and it worked great!
It is so AWESOME looking - we did a half wall - and I have a feeling we will be taking up the whole wall. We also had a GREAT experience with customer service. Yes, the price is a tich high, but definitely well worth it. Looks amazing.
