Run!! DO NOT USE STEWART TITLE! Stewart Title made closing a nightmare. They were the sellers title company and we have closed over a week and a half late after several clerical errors on their part. My husband owns his own company so when he doesn’t work we don’t get paid. Stewart Title has set up closing several times with us to change that within 58 minutes of the appointment. By far the worst title company we have came across. They tend to want to do everything on their own time and when they do get something done it’s never correct! I am shocked and surprised this title company is still in business and/or has not been sued. A Monthly, rude, lazy, and inconvenient company is all they are. Sent Joe Rajunas an email 2 weeks ago after an initial phone conversation regarding an error made by their employee in our closing about 2 1/2 years ago that had slipped under the radar. Their employee listed the wrong address on our closing document that goes to the County Clerk/ Assessors Office for property taxes. We never got our tax notices, taxes went unpaid until discovery and we have been assessed over $2400 in penalties and interest. I asked them to reimburse those fees...
