RecommendedStewart Medical Group has outstanding patient care. I wish I lived closer.
My husband and I have been coming to Stewart Medical for over 10 years. They have a good team over there and I have never had any problems with a staff. I believe most of them have been there all the time I've been coming there. I love Dr. James, but my appointments with Dr. John and Dr. Mercado have been just as pleasant. They have a good location in Alhambra and free parking. Wait times have are generally about 15-20 minutes but I have waited as much as 1 hour. If I could give more than 5 Stars, I definitely would. I’ve been going to Dr. John for over 20 years. Dr. John is a wonderful, very caring and compassionate. The staff is great and helpful. I highly recommend Stewart Medical.
Horrible. I went in with pelvic pain, I thought i had a uti. Sonya gave me a prescription . I asked about my pelvic pain,she said the antibiotics would help. She took urine from me and said they couldn't read it,they would have to send it out. I went for a second opinion, they were able to read my urine results. I did have a UTI, I was dehydrated, and I have early signs of intestinal problems.
Dr. Stewart is fine and at times enjoyable to talk with...but most of his staff is crappy maybe because they are young, low-paid punks. I called and asked for a referral from the doctor...the girl on the phone was condescending and rude...for no good reason. That's too bad for Dr. Stewart because he's a good doctor. Hopefully someday he will get better quality staff.
