STAY CLEAR! My husband and I went to Stewart-Longhurst, PS because it was our first year filing married and we wanted to be sure of things. We had children to claim, 2 homes to claim, but nothing out of the ordinary. We are saddened that the ******'s would rather report us to BBB than discuss their issues with us in person. We invite them to do so as, given the inaccuracies of many of the above statements, there obviously were some miscommunications.
I have used (and still use) numerous ELPs in the past. My wife and I taught FPU for years. We know what acceptable and unacceptable ELP service is. This company, Stewart Longhurst, should be removed from the Dave Ramsey ELP list and never EVER added back on. Hannah was absolutely great at explaining our options and helping us to make a far better informed decision regarding our taxes and personal plans.
It's an understatement to say that I wasn't looking forward to paying someone to do my taxes, but was over my head in how to file with my direct sales business... Long story short, I bit the bullet, found Ramsey-certified CPA, and am MORE than relieved that we chose Stewart-Longhurst. They helped me put together a detailed and thorough list of write-offs and then filed all the paperwork for us. I know it's not always the case, but they MORE than paid for themselves with the return we got. I will be using them again.
