Was forced to attend but stopped once I turned 18. Looking back on it he should've just removed me as a patient since I refused any of his help but he insisted on keeping me (most likely for financial reasons).
I don't know how I would have made it through a year+ dealing with an adult child with anxiety and his girlfriend, who had Asperger's Syndrome, living in my house. Dr. Stewart affirmed my complicated feelings and offered sound advice and empathy for us to make some difficult choices. He is one of the very best therapists I have ever encountered.
Dr. Stewart has been of tremendous help to our family for years. He conducts himself in a professional manner and exhibits and tremendous amount of care for his patients. He has offered our family so many insights that have helped us grow and work through problems.

I've been seeing Dr. Stewart for nearly 20 years. I interviewed him for my son initially, when our family was going through hard times, and continued on with him myself. He's been invaluable as an outside viewpoint on my life. He manages to be both gentle and direct. He asks incisive questions and listens thoughtfully. He's got a lovely sense of humor and a relaxed manner, both of which help me trust him. A good man, with integrity.
I met Dr. Stewart in a rather unconventional therapy situation several years back. I felt he handled the situation very professionally. His approach is clear and sensitive. I would totally recommend him to friends and family... and, actually, have had two family members see him for their own needs.
