I am a fellowship trained, board certified spine surgeon. I remain active in research and teaching, as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the UCF School of Medicine and an Instructor in Orthopaedics for the Orlando Health Orthopaedic Residency Program. My passion, however, is in treating patients with spine disorders. The majority of patients can be cured of their pain without surgery, and I will perform surgery only when and if it is the appropriate treatment, I love my job!

Dr. Stewart performed 4 back surgeries on me, the latest being in 2012. Since then I have been living with severe Neuropathy in my feet and legs.
He is thorough and not in a rush to do back surgery. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering with broken back, dislocated discs, etc. The staff is very professional.
Very pleasant. Listens, and is thorough.
Compassionate , friendly knowledgeable and an incredible surgeon. He put me back together after 2 failed surgeries done across town!
I went there and got more than I bargained for. Sciatic pain in both legs after a spinal fusion. I have a large seroma that hardened.. And foot drop, leg cramps, numbness, weakness in one leg, urinary incontinence and retention. All associated with pinched off nerves. I was told to go else where he can't help me anymore. So now thanks to him I have been on pain meds for over a year. Still trying to get somebody to fix this mess.
Dr. Stewart performed my neck fusion surgery in August of 2017. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! He fused C3-6 on my neck and I anticipated a resulting lack of neck mobility as a result. I have no such limits on my mobility. I was able to resume my daily walking schedule within a.few weeks, back up to 5 miles per day at aerobic pace. Trust me, at 70 I didn’t see that coming. Hope you never need similar surgery, but if you do, Dr. Geoffrey Stewart is your guy! Be well.
Dr. Stewart has been my back doctor for over 20 years. He has done several surgeries on my back. He is truly the reason I am still walking and not wheelchair bound. I trust him big time to do surgeries on me. Having faith in your surgeon is extremely important especially when doing spinal surgery. He is a wonderful, caring doctor!!
Had back surgery and he was kind and patient. He really cares. I'm a new man thanks to Dr. Stewart!!
I have seen 5 other surgeons in the past 5 years. Dr. Stewart is confident but not cocky. His experience with even complicated spinal surgery is, bar none, the best I have seen. His results are excellent and his caring is comforting. You feel he is on your side. He is willing to fix even other failed surgeries. I was ready to sign up for surgery the fist time I met him. I have not been disappointed.
