I moved to Florida a couple years ago and the pain started getting worse. I was in pain all the time. I was referred to Dr. Stewart by my doctor. He performed surgery on me to take out a bad screw and fixed that area of my cage to so it would not be a painful in the future. Dr Stewart did an amazing job. My back feels great! Excellent. Addressed my fears and explained everything to me. 4 days post op and I’m recovering so much better than expected! I had the onset of some muscle spasms at the hospital, but he gave me something that took care of it very quickly and I’m home now and doing great. L4-S1 fusion
From the moment I walked in I was treated so well, the staff was very nice and caring. Dr Stewart was caring and understanding
Doctor did answer a couple of questions, but barely even referred to the MRI's he sent me for. Just said I need to do pain management instead of surgery and that I should come back in a month. So I am left with all kinds of terms like stenosis and bulging discs in multiple places in my spine that he can't be bothered explaining.
Dr. Stewart is my Favorite orthopedic doctor! He has operated on me and now I can do almost everything - including 'things' that dr. Stewart said I shouldn't do! But life is demanding...so I do those things...and now I'm going for the next visit to see what he says...I trust him completely!
22 years ago when no other surgeon in Orlando would touch me because I had been ruined by previous surgeries he performed surgery on me and saved me from a life of terrible pain. 5 years ago having been diagnosed with a back issue he took a quick look and told me I had a necrosis in my hip, which was correct and I had my hip replaced. I had three pelvic fractures and he had me take a nose spray (seriously) that totally cure it along with physical therapy! Highly recommend Dr Stewart!
Very Professional and I would recommend any one that has major back issues.
