A traditional Family oriented pet store with lots of pets to play with. Kids love to come in and are thrilled to be able to actually hold the animals . Clean well merchandised and the animals are so well cared for.

I love spending time in Steve's Pet store. Their are usually ferrets available for petting, and their are a couple of pen's where prospective new dog or cat owners can get acquainted with a potential new adorable pet. their is so much petting that the puppies and kittens love to get a nap when they are in their personal cage behind the glass. I have shopped at this store for all my animal supplies for over 10 years now. Even 10 years later still get a friendly HELLO from the workers every time I walk in the door!! That's Awesome!!! Always have the answers and stuff I need and if they don't, they get it for me or send me where I need to go. Puppies are well taken care of (Problably better than mine I'm a little embarassed to say). Overall Great Store, Great Pets, Great People!!! I have heard that Steve gets his dogs from puppy mills. I don't know the validity of this claim -he has personally told me "we get them from the best possible sources we can, and do a lot of research to make sure we don't use puppy mills". I believe him, but I will say that with all of the neglected, abused and abandoned dogs in the world, I do not agree with buying a dog from ANY pet store. Research for Yourself – Bought my little Lena from Steve's almost a year ago...and I couldn't be happier. I've heard so many negative things from people, yet can't help but think they are just perpetuating the same old rumors. None of the negative reviews I've read have ever had substantial evidence that Steve's buys from puppy mills; such as links to proof, etc... Don't Support Cruelty to Animals – Just so you know, when you purchase a dog at a pet store, you are most likely perpetuating the continuation of puppy mills. Sure, your puppy may be healthy and live a long and happy life, but it's parents and many, many more dogs are left to suffer their entire lives living in deplorable and cruel conditions just so the puppy mill owners and the pet store owners can make a profit. Steve's "Wonderful" World-Pets holds pets hostage!!! – NEVER EVER buy anything here. You will be contributing to the animal neglect and price inflation policy of this company. These animals are over 4 months old sitting in tiny cages. The owner and staff contribute to the ruin of animals willingly. Got a great dog from Steve's – First off i like steves pets the kids can come in and play with the dogs. all the puppys get lots of socialization along with the other animals. I bought a shiba inu there and she is a wonderful dog.
