Incompetent. My Mercy surgeon and PCP confirmed I have a cyst and recommended aspiration. I have an ultrasound that says “simple cyst” which fluid filled, not bone. This podiatrist ignored imaging, refused aspiration, recycled bunion language from his own site, told me it was bone, questioned why they did an ultrasound instead of an X-ray, and pushed surgery instead of attempting to aspirate because he claimed it would be a lot of pain for nothing. Dr. Stephenson is absolutely phenomenal! After a freak accident that left me in a tough spot, he stepped in and worked his magic. He fit me in for an appointment quicker than I could have hoped. Now, less than two months after foot surgery, I'm back on my feet—feeling as if nothing ever happened! The best part? Just as he predicted, it looks like I won't even have any scars.
