Dr. Corso is a comprehensive, caring, compassionate Christian oncologist who always listens to me about how my chemo and radiation treatments are progressing. In addition, he gives me choices for my treatment options. His personal past experience with cancer makes me feel like he actually understands the battles I face because he also encountered them. He was not compassionate. Only interested in what he wanted to say. Made my daughter-in-law go 3 months without chemo which allowed the cancer to get the upper hand. Said he did not know anything to do. She went to Duke and they said there were several more drugs to try. He told her to stop treatment and get a 'comfort' chair. Only interested in what he wanted to do not what she wanted.
Nurse does most of visit. Neither show compassion. Working in oncology must be really hard and perhaps that’s why no compassion. Concerns are quickly dismissed.
Dr Corso was exceptional as usual. One of the things I love most is he brings a legal pad in the room with him and as he talks with you about your dx and treatment options he makes notes… usually in an outline form, and then gives them to you when you leave so you can refer back to them later. Even as a healthcare provider for 20+ yrs this has been extremely helpful on more than one occasion. He is very research driven and goes into detail with you about what the research says, prognosis, and risks.. all in plain English. Wh... read more

Dr Corso and the Team ALWAYS Takes GREAT Care of My Needs! If I Have a Million Questions, He and His Team will Answer EVERY ONE and Doesn't Get Irritated, or Makes Me Feel Less than Important. They are Authentic in Providing Care.
Dr Corso is extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind and Compassionate. We took my Mom of 88 who was recently diagnosed with cancer for a Consult and and He spoke directly to her and made sure she understood her plan going forward. I am a Cancer Survivor of 9 yrs and am so Thankful we found Dr Corso.
Sometimes I think he listens but I am not sure. I so want to ask what he does to stay current, but I don't want to be rude either.
