I’ve been a couple of times and both times I was waiting to see him an unacceptable amount of time. My appointment was first thing in the morning so it shouldn’t be an excuse of patients to a while. If your time is valuable don’t choose this place. Two hours is unreasonable.
Office is waaay busy so be patient. Lots of broken bones and bodies in need of his care. Friendly staff. Dr. Sands is a TRAUMA surgeon and look around in that office as he treats all of it!
Dr. Sands is a wonderful surgeon his bedside manner is outstanding. He explains everything an is caring an always professional. I drive a distance to see him wont let any other orthopedic surgeon do surgery on me now he is the best!
Dr. Sands is a great listener and was very dynamic in his explanations on what treatments would be necessary and how the process would work from start to finish…
I was very pleased with Doctor Sands. He was very personable and concerned about my injury. Would highly recommend him to anybody that is looking for an orthopedist.

Dr. Sands was genuinely concerned about my bone health! Referred me to a Dr. that would help me with that ! I haven’t gotten a call yet. I’m sure I will.. very blunt as to what I was up against if I didn’t rest my foot. I look forward to my follow up to see where I am in this crazy healing process. There is nothing better than a Doctor speaking to you, as a human being. It is very rare these days.
My daughter had 3 closed fractures and she was so scared to go to Dr until she saw Dr Sands. He and his team did great job to have a great time in there. They know how to welcome patients and help them to heal
Dr. Sands was so friendly and personable but also extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly what I was dealing with, proposed a course of action but did not make me feel panicked. Great doctor.
