Because of Dr. Sands, I can walk today! When my femur surgery didn't heal properly (after months of extreme pain), I found Dr. Sands. My husband and I found him to be informative and kind. Best of all because of him I can walk today, no wheel chair for me or pain pills! Kailee, Erica and the rest of Dr. Sands' staff are equally kind and professional in their jobs.

Dr sands treated my tibial plateau fracture and he’s amazing in every way. I never feel rushed he always listens to my concerns and is understanding and comes up with solutions. Best trauma doc

MY SON-IN-LAW SUSTAINED SEVERAL INJURIES RECENTLY, WAS TRANSPORTED TO BAPTIST HOSPITAL VIA AMBULANCE. HE UNDERWENT SURGICAL REPAIR BY DR. SANDS. DR. SANDS INTRODUCED HIMSELF BEFORE SURGERY, NEVER AGAIN SPOKE WITH MY S-I-L OR DAUGHTER DURING HOPITAL STAY.MY DAUGHTER LEFT TWO MESSAGES WITH HIS OFFICE TO HAVE THE NURSE OR DOCTOR RETURN HER CALL AND NO ONE DID. I AM A SEASONED NURSE AND WORK FOR AN ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON, SO I AM APPALED WITH DR SANDS BEHAVIOR. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.
Once he found out I was on medicare wanted to give me shots in my knee which I could already barely walk on and send me to therapy. Jes an arrogant rude person. I guess he just wanted to wash his hands of medicare where he could get more money. I do not recommend him as even a vet to clip nails.
Dr. Sands is very personable & friendly. He's a damn good doctor.
Dr Sands and his entire staff at his office were FANTASTIC! I saw Dr. Sands for a nonunion Tib/Fib Fracture that was a old fracture. His PA Bruce was top notch and extremely knowledgeable and had great bedside manor and his MA Kailee was very kind, sweet, compassionate and seemed very informative she removed my staples with ease and explained everything to expect while taking them out and then what do when I got home with great detail. I had a great experience from the time I checked in to out.
