I have put off my shoulder replacement for too long. I could not lift things, put my belt on, hard to sleep because of pain....generally I was handicapped. I am skittish when it when it comes to surgery. I was bone on bone i n my shoulder and I heard crunching sounds when I moved my arm. Dr Goldberg performed a miracle for me! Dr Goldberg did an outstanding job of repairing my torn rotator cuff. After a little physical therapy I now have full motion and usage of my shoulder. i had a serious fall where i dislocated my shoulder by 10 inches after therapy and MRI it was decided i needed rotator cuff surgery Dr Goldberg did an excellent job and m back to normal
No problems after the surgery. Started rehab immediately and worked at home also. No pain except some stiffness that was easily worked out. After four three weeks of rehab I started easy workouts for my triathlon training. After six weeks I continued my workouts but added a more strenuous pace. The first few days after surgery there was very little pain and none after a few more days. I took first place in the Captiva Trtathlon in the 80 and over age group. I waited too long before getting my shoulder replacement scheduled. The procedure and recovery were successful and I feel like it is back to normal in just 6-9 months. The actual recovery was very short, pain was gone the day after surgery and I wish I had done this sooner. The doctor and staff at the office and hospital were all excellent. I appreciate all the concern, care and reassurance I had gotten during my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg for his skills and using the CSR shoulder is amazing.
