I would highly recommend Dr. Poertner. He listens to your needs and takes the time to communicate solutions. He is a very kind doctor. His office staff are also very helpful.
I tried to establish care with Dr. Poertner over a year ago. I was pushed back till this year today. Now I’m being told the Dr won’t be available again today and I’ll have to reschedule. This is absolutely unreal. Over a year just to establish care? Go anywhere but here. This office is so unprofessional and can’t even tell me the next time I can reschedule with the doctor. Go to a doctor who actually shows up to his practice, not one who just likes how his name looks on the building!!! I’d give ZERO stars if I could.
Dr. Poertner is great. But appointments are 6 months out even for existing patients so what's the point? Office staff was super demeaning and told me to go to the ER if I needed something sooner. Super disappointed because I really liked Dr. Poertner.
Dr Poertner is always friendly and professional. I actually look forward to my primary care visit. I never feel rushed. Dr. Poertner is always up on the latest information to help me stay healthy. He always suggests appropriate referrals and tests, and never anything unnecessary. As an "older" patient (71), I hope to keep him for many more years.
