worst dentist ever! wasnt sure if i was getting my teeth cleaned or buying a used car.
I was writitng a review for an endontist Dr. Brattesani had referred me to (my friend told me about yelp and advised i should write reviews when good things happen) when i thought i should write a review for him too. I met Dr. Brattesani 23 years ago after a dental mishap from another dentist. I was terrified of going to the dentist. I am in the process of having well over $5,000 worth of major dental work completed including root canals, and bridgework. Dr. B has been highly professional and well qualified in creating a pragmatic & realistic plan of action. His office staff has been fabulous in working with my two forms of insurance and creating a plan that allows me to maximize working on the most serious issues first to ensure I avoid expensive more serious problems down the line. I broke a molar, waited too long and then saw DR. Brattesani. He helped me understand the issues (consequences were grim) and facilitated a quick root canal with an endodontist. Then he did the crown work, good equipment, good hand technique and willing to educate me about the parts of the process, this I much appreciated. I liked the staff, and as hard as it is to talk of enjoying having a crown, it was nessesary work and a good experience
Dr. Brattesani got me to care about my teeth by making them less of a mystery. He told me their numbers and the state of each number. I had a lot of problems. He told me we would take it one step at a time and all the work he has done has been beautiful. I am very happy with his services.
Dr. Brattesani is a good dentist with state of the art equipment. BUT, he's extremely pushy and came across as selling elective procedures.
He has all the latest technology and performs superb work, though it comes at a high financial cost. He's performed crowns, fillings and an inlay (using CERAC) on me, and they've all been virtually painfree. The dentists to whom he's referred me for wisdom teeth extractions and root canals have also been first rate. He's very good at explaining the options and the procedures though he can be very outspoken / non-PC on non-dental matters - I'd hate to work for him! I have been in and out of many dental chairs and plan on staying in Dr. Brattesani's chair surrounded by his talented team for a long time to come. Dr. Brattesani and his team are the best. They not only handle the dental work with care and to the highest standard, but they handle insurance claims efficiently. I can't tell the difference between his crown and my own teeth.
