Dr. Resnick is the most thorough Doctor I have ever seen. He listened to everything I had to say about my condition. He reviewed all of my tests and symptoms before reaching an initial treatment plan and ordered more tests to be sure of the diagnosis. He is patient and truly cares about every patient. Dr. Resnick took care of my mother originally for years and then also my father to the current day. Has always been very patient, helpful, sympathetic professional and resourceful. For three years, I was experiencing what was at first discomfort then excruciating pain. Excellent making appointment and afterwards receiving test results via email. Dr. Resnick listens. A member of his team conducted tests and clearly explained the procedure.
I have MS and Dr. Resnick saved my life, now I am in remission. My opinion is that the first steps of treatment are the most crucial.
Went to Dr. Resnick with hand tremors, unsteady gait, balance issues. He ordered 2 different tests then told me to return when results were in. He completely missed diagnosed my condition. There was no hands on examination. I made an appointment with the Neurology Dept at U of M and what a difference. I had an hour long examination and was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy. Dr.Resnick thankfully ordered several MRI’s upon arrival at Mt Sinai and was able to identify a spinal hematoma that had caused stroke like symptoms. His thoroughness and expertise determined that emergency surgery was necessary and called in a neurosurgeon colleague who successfully removed the hematoma. Dr. Resnick’s follow up care was impressive and his concern was evident. I couldn’t recommend him more highly and was fortunate to be in his care.
