I was referred to dr.Porter when my xrays showed a torn meniscus & a cist in left knee. I was in severe pain before ,during and after visiting his office. He gave me a prescription for pain ( which is no more than ibuprofen ) that was only good for 6 days. Now I need more since it has run out, but his office tells me he's only available for prescriptions 2 days a week. What am I to do during that time? Please DO NOT use this doctor if you want your pain resolved in a timely manner.
Excellant doctor and surgeon. Not extremely talkative but I have friends for that... He is very knowledgeable and very good at what he does. He can seen a little impersonal at times but I rather have an excellent surgeon who is a man of few words than one who wants to be my best friend and is incompatant. I continue to see Dr. Porter and have my daughter seeing him. I would recommend this surgeon.
I will never ever go back to his doctor. He is in a hurry writes report without even assesing and examining my knee, very scary and never will trust this doctor.
Nice , helpful staff. Very clean office and restrooms. I, my family and some friends have used him.
Great doctor! Very nice office. I always get greeted when i walk through the door. staff can use some help though. There's has been a couple times where the staff were just standing in the halls talking. But I would recommend him to family and friends
I had rotator cuff surgery and had tremendous results. 100% recovered and pain free in 4 months. Excellent knowledge, helpful staff.
Dr. Porter was not my surgeon because my injury occurred out of state, however he did the follow up and I was very satisfied. There were a few issues. The parking situation was bad due to construction. Communication not perfect between staff and doctor for x-ray information so I had to have a retake of initial x-rays.
Very happy with his care. Very knowledgeable I would recommend him.
He has taken of my broken arm also takes off both knees He is a great Doctor
