Very pleased with preop details & explanations. Surgery went well. I'm 6 weeks post op & hoping to get my cast off in 10 days.
A very kind, sympathetic, knowledgeable, competent, MD that I would recommend to anyone with a foot or ankle problem.
He explained what was wrong with my foot, also plans to be corrected by the surgery. He was a very pleasant Dr.

I just had my second follow up appointment, after my foot surgery in July. Both follow up appointments I specifically asked for and scheduled when Dr. Howell would be able to see me, according to his scheduler. Both appointments I did not see him, I saw his PA. His PA is wonderful and very knowledgeable, and I have no problem with him conducting my follow ups, but I specifically scheduled my appointments on a day and time Dr. Howell would be in office to see me. Pleasant attitudes from check in to exam room staff and the doctor.
Friendly staff, timely with no unexpected waiting.
My bunions are worse now I have hammer to and the inflammation in my joints are so painful. I need a steroid shot.
There's always a lot of waiting at appointments which can cause nervousness, but Dr. Howell was nothing but friendly, easy-going and clear in his diagnosis. Would recommend!
