Dr. Harwin and his staff should be barred from practicing medicine. They performed knee replacement on me and refused a followup visit until 6 weeks. Unheard of according to the professionals I've spoken to. Lucy promised me the moon and the sky and I haven't seen night yet. Denise the office manager never returns calls nor does the office ever answer calls. Probably because they are involved in malpractice lawsuits.DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. I'm in sever pain and there is no aftercare provided as they promised me.
Having a ten plus year mileage with Dr. Steven F. Harwin, between the replacement of both my knees and hips, respectively 2003,2004,2006 and most recently Nov 5, 2013 Doc. Harwin has really perfected his craft as an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. Comparing the first TRHR in 2003 to the TLHR I just underwent there is none, my ability to ambulate although on a walker pretty much effortless. I am able to shower unassisted and comfortably and the best is there no precautionary movements. Thanks a bunch Dr. Harwin
Dr Harwin is a miracle worker. My knees hurt so much I could not get into my car or go to the store without help. I feel 10 years younger now! He is the best in NY.
