I met dr. Kane 2 months ago with a severe eye issue as a result of a cancer clinical trial side effect. Dr. Kane was very up front . On a scale of 1 to 10. I was a 10 as far as a severe side effect of the trial. Dr. Kane state no guarantees but let's try and save this eye. After his treatments he referred me to another specialist. Dr. Mercado of Bascom eye. He stated she is the best of the best. Im still on treatment but I am getting results and I didn't lose the eye. It. I love this doctor BUT I have had to reschedule 3 times due to LONG waits!!! He needs to keep a schedule! I am about to find a new doctor 😢

I can see salt again. I can thread a fishhook again. I can turn down the brightness to my computer and cell phone. Prior to surgery Dr. Kane contacted me personally, at home, to review my profile. I didn't know doctors did that anymore and I have been around the block a couple million times. With my cataract surgery, I had mono vision conducted. After thirty-four years of progressive eyeglasses I can read the micro-print on a med bottle without corrective glasses. Thanks Doc.

While Dr. Kane seems to be a very knowledgeable doctor and his staff is very kind, I find that I can no longer tolerate the long times to get to the back and then to actually see the doctor. On my very first appointment, I waited over an hour in the waiting room before being called back. Then I waited another 45 minutes in the chair before seeing anyone at all.
