I do not recommend Dr. Cancell for anyone with ankle injury. He spent very little time in the exam room and did not even take time to review my MRI results with me. He kept me in a boot 12 weeks before recommending surgery even though the entire reason I was referred to him was to determine if surgery was needed. He was dismissive of my questions about surgery and even asked why I wanted to know how long the surgery would take with a very conceeded tone.
