I've been happy with the guidance I have received from Dr Fern over the 20+ years I've been acquainted with him after referral from my primary care doctor at the time. My current cessation of the hepC virus, while a long time coming, was worth waiting for. Thanks to Dr Fern and his staff's efforts, it finally became a reality.
Dr Fern is a great doctor , one of the few times I like going to see a doctor , and he jokes some to lighten the air which I need !
I would highly recommend Dr.Fern and his team. He is extremely professional and cordial! He tops in his profession! To date I have had a minimum of 4 procedures. Dr Fern personally and his team shows through actions and performance and cares for nothing but the best interests of his patients! I had a procedure just today! Dr Fern cared enough to roll me out in a wheelchair to my ride!

BAIT & SWITCH! Told me what my procedure was going to cost and required me to pay it in advance. Got 2 more bills following the procedure for nearly $1500!! ZERO price transparency. I would have NEVER had the procedure done knowing it would cost this much. Paid the bill and they STILL sent me to collections. Unbelievable!
Prep given was impossible to finish as I got sick and could not finish the prep. When I called to tell them they were unconcerned but interested in rescheduling me.
I have been trying to get an appointment with Dr. Fern for three years. Prior to that, I was a satisfied patient of his. In the past three years, I have called numerous times for various problems due to my Crohn's Disease. I have seen physician assistants, but not Dr. Fern. This morning I called to get an appointment for severe abdominal pain and nausea accompanied by weight loss. Dr. Fern cannot see me until the end of July. I was again offered a physician's assistant. Shame on them.
Dr. Fern, is one of the best doctors that I know of and very interested in making sure he found out what my problem was. He gave me extra time in the room and called me personally with my results of whatever I had done, even though he was there late in the evening doing this. I have the most confidence in his skill and his bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone, especially my family members. One of the best doctors!!!!
I have seen Dr. Fern for many years. He is thorough and has a great beside manner. He is clear in communication and expectations and very friendly. Great experience.
