I love this place! – I live in the same neighborhood as Steuben's and go there all the time. I love how cool and comfortable it is inside and the staff is always great. My favorite is the Tuesday night meatloaf, you have to try it!
love it! – Steuben's is a great addition to the 17th Ave area. The food is great! Service is fun, and there is no over the top 'this and that'. They don't have 20 different types of flavored vodka. Horrible Service – I went to Stueben's for brunch yesterday with high expectations. It took forever to put in our order. Then we didnt see him again until we were finished eating. It took 15 minutes to get our check, then our server never showed up to give us change, so we had to get change from the bar. And, it wasnt busy at all. The food was decent at best. Awesome food, service, and decor!!!!!! – I've been twice now and the food is amazing!! I went with a my girlfriends for brunch and we all shared our entrees- the french toast is to die for!!! It is cooked with a vanilla ice cream coating and served with homemade maple syrup. We also order the lox, which had very fresh salmon. Great place, great food, great atmosphere – Wow! I went to Steuben's the other night with a group of friends and we had such a great time! We tried the raspberry lime rickey at the suggestion of our server and followed with quite a few more! We had a few appetizers to share including the crab cakes which were amazing, the mussels, which were awesome, and the habenero honey fried corn, which sounds kind of crazy but is actually the most perfect pairing of sweet and spicy! mothers day brunch was the best – I took my mother to Steuben's yesterday for brunch. It was very busy, but the service and food was still wonderful. IAt did take a few minutes to get our food, but the whole restaurant was full, so it's understandable. They brought out a mimosa for my mom too, that was a nice touch. I have been there a few times, but will be back often now.
Best comfort food,great environment, amazing vibe! – Steuben's in Uptown is a much anticipated (and needed) addition to the neighborhood. Favorites include the Cubano sandwich, the lobsterroll, and the Steuben's fries. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, and the aptmosphere is very comfortable. This is a great place to grab a quick lunch or have a fantastic dinner.
The following is a recap of our second dining experience at Steuben's. The first time we dined, the food was very average (I had the pork chop special and my fiance had the braised short rib). We wanted to give it a second chance as i really wanted to try the BBQ Brisket (they were out of it both nights)..... Chinese ribs: skimpy meat that was fatty and tough. Lobster Bisque: Disgusting!
