Dianne was incredibly rude and condescending for no reason; all we did was simply reach out about a listing and she only had rude responses. Not helpful at all, especially considering we are coming from outside of Boston and do not know the market well. would not recommend going to them for your renting needs

Dianne was needlessly passive aggressive and poor at communication. Did not respond to application materials in a timely manner despite the purported urgency of their submission, which is incredibly counterintuitive. Appended passive aggressive remarks to correspondences, then upon being called out for doing so, revoked the application due to "poor conduct". I even saw her enter a tenant's apartment without knocking, while he was still in the property. Do not work with this agency.
I worked with Dianne at Sterling to finalize a lease and, so far, they’ve been very responsive, accommodating, and have provided great service. In particular, they had great videos of the property I was interested in and Dianne had great ideas about how to get best use of the space.
Our building was sold to Sterling in the middle of our lease. They collected security deposits from us but their online portal is extremely confusing and did not document anywhere that they money taken was for a deposit. The portal actually tried to charge us an extra month's rent (we'd paid last month up front with our lease). They did not provide bank account information for the deposit as they are supposed to per MA law, and have been completely unresponsive as we've reached out to find out how/when we'll get our deposits... read more
