Dr. Wilde literally saved my life. He was my Dr. For 15 yrs for Crohn’s Disease. Was taking injections with Infliximab at the previous hospital near where I was living. Very expensive. Moved to Athens, Ga. and saw Dr. Wilde. He told me the meds I was on was like a Cadillac when I needed a Chevy. After he changed my meds to 2 pills I went into remission after 3 years. Have been in total remission now for almost 10 years. Cannot thank him enough. He and staff were so wonderful. Very caring and professional. Highly recommend Dr... read more
I had a colonoscopy performed by Dr. Wilde today and am extremely satisfied. Dr. Wilde was courteous, thorough, informative, and had a most pleasing bedside manner. Additionally, I found him to have a humorous personality, and he made me feel quite comfortable with a less than pleasant procedure. I might add that I have had this procedure several times in the past with other physicians, and this was by far the smoothest (and least unpleasant).
In the past, I was diagnosed with Primary biliary cirrhosis by Dr. Wilde and eventually sent to Emory for a liver transplant. Dr. Wilde was an excellent doctor. He was extremely informative, personable and always answered my questions. If it wasn't for Dr. Wilde and his medical knowledge, I would be deceased. Of course, when I was put on the transplant list and had my transplant, I became Emory's patient and Dr. Wilde was no longer my doctor for my liver situation, but I highly recommend him.
I was diagnosed with cirrhosis & while a patient at ARMC was seen by Dr. Wilde. He came off as very arrogant & non caring. Was very hard to talk to so as a family we decided to go to emory for a 2nd opinion & was immediatly placed in the transplant clinic. Dr. Wilde now refused me as a patient because of tge 2nd opinion! Wow is all i can say. A goid doctor shoukd welcome a 2nd opinion instead of acting like a baby because of it. Wouldn't recommend him to a dog much less for a human.
Was having serious pains in my stomach area. He ran some test but those test showed nothing. He ended up telling me that my problem was that I was over weight and without using these words it was all in my head. 2 months later I'm in the hospital after having major surgery. My small intestine was 98% chocked off from scar tissue from an old surgery and had a small hole in it. In other words if I would have taken his word and not found another doctor I would probably be dead now.
I have Crohns disease and was hospitalized about 5 yrs ago for it. If it were not for Dr. Wilde I would not be alive today! He's very thorough, very personable, knows what he's doing, talks to you like you matter to him, and gives you the utmost care. His bedside manner and patient rapport is absolutely the best. He has helped me through so much and has always treated me with the utmost respect. I would recommend Dr. Wilde to anyone with gastro problems.
I have found Dr Wilde to be thorough ,empathetic and patient. I found he and his staff to be friendly and professional. I saw the nurse practitioner today and she was wonderful. She consulted with Dr Wilde ,who along with the nurse practitioner explained a treatment plan to me. I'm a returning patient and I've always had a positive experience. He makes me feel at ease and I trust his judgment wholly
