Dr Thompson is an excellent surgeon, I would recommend him to anyone needing help with their joint problems.
As another review stated, avoid this man at all costs. I felt like I finally had a surgeon that would help me after being mistreated and misdiagnosed for over a decade. He quickly made me realize that he didn't take the time to know anything about my case. My second appointment involved him diagnosing me with a frozen shoulder which I did not indeed have. After injuring my shoulder and seeing three different doctors and going to PT. Dr. Thompson was the only person to immediately recognize there was a problem and that I didn’t just “pull a muscle”. I spent many nights crying in pain because I felt like I wasn’t being listened to and was being over dramatic about what I was feeling. Dr.Thompson tried to convince me that I have "frozen shoulder " so that he could take advantage of our very disorganized health care system. He did not look at my MRI, XRay, or CT scan to make this diagnoses. Since I did not trust him or his process, I sought another opinion and am very happy I did. He insisted on scheduling painful and expensive procedures, and they would have been unnecessary and ultimately, would have done more damage.
