RecommendedI recently relocated back home to Pittsburgh. This was my favorite salon when I lived here before and I'm so glad to be back!! Jennifer is my hair dresser and she's the best! I can't wait til the salon can reopen. Hope everyone is doing well!!
experienced! teaching is a major goal for upcoming stylists. This is a rare thing. I am always asked what I would like and am given excellent advice. If you are just looking for a run of the mill old fashioned salon experience this salon is not the best one for you. If you want new techniques, healthier hair care and a look that “fits you” this is the salon for you. Prepare for great advice, great work ethics and a caring salon.

Alex (at the South Hills Mall location) has done an amazing job!! She listens to your wants and needs, but offers advice too! She understands what I want and delivers a first class result! Thank you Alex!!
I went to Chris at the McMurray location today! Chris’ 30 years at the salon was obvious! Very professional and she did an excellent job!
I have been going to Stephen Szabo Salon for more than a year. My stylist is Jennifer and I have never had anyone who makes sure she does my hair the way I want it done. The staff is wonderful and everyone is friendly
I recently had my hair done in an updo for my friend’s wedding here. Alyssa was my stylist and she went above and beyond my expectations! She asked what I was looking to get done, used pictures I brought for reference, and stopped periodically through her styling to check that I was happy with the look so far. Both my husband and I started to go to Stephen Szabo Salon in McMurray PA in January. He goes to Beth and I go Jennifer. Both the salon and the stylists are awesome. We will continue going to this salon for a very long time
This place deserves a zero. Stay away and go to a more friendly less pretentious salon.
