My daughter had previously seen 3 other neurologist. We have diagnosis such as autism and ADHD. We also have had involuntary movements her whole life and is now 9. It looks like a mix between shaking and jerks. Dr Deputy is the first one that has gone through our previously done genetics and down the rabbit whole. Everyone else said it was something she would have to deal with. She is now diagnosised and on meds that have drastically changed her quality of life. The movements are close to nonexistent. I took my son to see Dr. Deputy. I found his manor to be harsh and unfeeling. He openly discussed issues my son was experiencing directly in front of him. Then he dictated every issue into his recording device. My son had no idea that any of his behaviors were unusual and was not self conscious at all before this visit. He left the appointment with his stomach hurting and cried as soon as we got to the car. He is six years old. The doctor could’ve easily asked me to step out into the hall.
