Went to see about wrist ; trying to pressure me into getting a cortisone shot & after I refused he stated put heating pad & take a Motrin ; nothing he could recommend. Didn’t take any test , X-rays etc ; just a gimmick to bill my insurance definitely seeing another doctor
After falling and breaking my arm in three places, Dr. DeSilva help me on my way to recovery.
After dealing with carpal tunnel with far too long I made an appointment with Dr DeSilva. He was very kind, honest and professional. The appointment was very timely, which I greatly appreciated. After discussing my treatment options we settled on steroid injections. The procedure worked very well initially, and over a few days the relief faded. I then went back for a booster and I’m feeling pretty good about it. Very appreciative that the Dr took my pain seriously, discussed my options and was upfront about my outcome.
I was in and out in not even 3 mins. Didn’t seem interested in talking to me and dismissed me as soon as he found out my age. Said if my neurologist thinks I have carpel tunnel after their tests then maybe we will see each-other again. Nope if I get sent back, I won’t be going to this guy. He didn’t even do what my neurologist said he would do to check me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
My husband had surgery with him, did really well the first 6 weeks. Then once the 1st cast was removed, he had terrible pain.... They were not responding to phone calls, nor returning them. He went into the emergency room at the hospital Dr.Desilva works out of , the basically said "He's a great surgeon and makes No mistakes." Wouldn't take any images, blood work , nor give him anything for pain. Sent him home..... He SUFFERED FOR DAYS. Until we went to a completely different hospital. They got him back immediately...
