The WORST pediatric doctor I have ever encountered. Sent my daughter home with an ear infection and a 102 fever. A real loser.
Charged $541 for less than 10 seconds of time with Dr. Matthew and for him to simply agree with Urgent Care that my daughter did not in fact need stitches. All treatment (cleaning of wound etc.) was done by Urgent Care. This was in addition to the bill I paid the ER for utilizing their facility. While I of course know that a doctor needs to be compensated for his time and expertise, this bill is a reflection of all the health care providers and institutions that make our health care system a mess. I took my daughter to the ER at Joe DiMaggio . With her medical history he should’ve done a lot of tests . I told him she might have an ear infection he looked at her ear . Make the story short . My daughter ended up at St. Mary’s hospital . Joe DiMaggio should fire him I wouldn’t even trust him to work in a zoo . The rudest doctor I encountered in 57 years.
I took my son to Joe DiMaggio Children’ Hospital with a note from another physician stating my son had abdominal pains and apendicitis. Dr. Matthew evaluates hima and said my son had gastroenteritis and sent us home. However my son continued with pain and I took him to Coral Springs Hospital and he was admitted immediately because his appendix had already been perforated.
