Excellent Orthopedic surgeon. Recently, I had an accident at home and was rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore NY. Emergency room doctor called an Orthopedic to have him look at my leg. He stated that I needed surgery. I wanted a 2nd opinion. The Orthopedic doctor was pressuring me to have surgery. Kept asking me why I wanted a 2nd opinion, stated that if I didn't take care of it I could lose me leg, etc. Dr Kottenmier looked at my x-ray and concluded that I didn't need surgery.
