I waited for over an hour, then left without seeing Dr. Buto. I came prepared (printed-completed-brought all required documents) and showed up on time. Then , I sat in the waiting room for 30 mins, they brought me back into a patient room and took my blood pressure. I was told to go back into the main waiting room, where I sat for another 30 minutes. I have had my second procedure with Dr Buto and Dr Leong in 10 years. They and their staff were the most professional and courteous people that I have ever met. Everything was explained to me as to what was going to happen for prep, the procedure and after the procedure. During my wait time the staff made sure I was comfortable and inquired if I had any questions that needed to be answered. I just took my colonoscopy with Dr. Buto at Hawaii Endoscopy Center. Staffs were friendly and nice. However, Dr. Buto didn't have good communication with them. After my colonoscopy, I was in bed and half unconscious. Dr. Buto opened the drape and said something for a second. It was like he just walked by the bed. After a while, staff brought me to the "after endoscopy waiting room" and told me that I had to wait, Doctor will talk to you. So I was waiting for about 1 hour! Acts if he doesn't care about your well being because he doesn't. The time when I seen him, he was really tired and rude. He gives the impression that he doesn't know what he is doing.
