Dr. Hammett has been my PCP for several years and I can truthfully state that I have never been provided care at the outstanding level of which Dr. Hammett and his staff perform at consistently. Dr. Hammett always gives you the attention a patient would expect, and more importantly makes you feel very comfortable discussing things. I wish I had gone to him earlier!
I've gone to Dr. Hammet since he was first in New River and followed him to Anthem. He is an excellent doctor -caring and knowledgable. He is easy to talk to, ready to explain as much as you want to know. He does not act like he is god (like some doctors) - listens to your concerns, is respectful of you and what you have to say. Doctors who are caring, knowledgable and approachable are increasingly hard to find.
I've had Dr. Hammer for 8+ years. I'm a young 65 but with health issues. I can talk with him, share things you can't share with anybody else & he's got my back when I land in the hospital.
