I visited Dr. Hammett at his Village Medical location to establish a primary care physician near where I live. This was a well patient visit, I currently have no health issues. My wife also set up an appointment. - after the visit it was not fully covered by insurance due to the fact he added a medical condition to the visit that I do not have. - contacting his office is impossible, Village Medical forces you to call a nation wide number, I tried using the patient portal to let him know of the error and he never responded. -... read more
Dr. Hammett is a Doctor who cares and listens, doesn't try to push drugs, and doesn't try to intimidate. He's very knowledgeable and personable. You couldn't ask for a better doctor.
He listens to you and shows concern about your issues. Easy going and very intelligent.

Went very well. He is very helpful and asks about any problems I have been having. Being an older person in the past use to have ekgs, x-rays,urine tests. Now everything is done by blood tests. This seems to give the best results

I have been a patient of Dr. Hammett since he started practice in New River. I truly love this man.
