Excellent reputation — well deserved - among colleagues and Medtronic technicians.
I would not recommend this Dr. Although he may be qualified to some degree, he was very misleading to me regarding a procedure and subsequent insurance coverage. Basically he, like most Dr's these days, wanted to "sell" me an implant..... "oh sure, no problem, i'll get it approved blah blah... then when he can't its like goodbye out. St. Lukes is better than this. I'd pick another Doctor
Sold me on a stimulator which sounded great. He implants it and didn’t measure correctly so then had to splice in an extra 6” of wire which is a huge miscalculation on length in my mind. I initially think mistakes happen but then started feeling pulling in the area where the splice was placed when I’d lean certain directions. He made me feel stupid for even mentioning it.
