Recently had a newborn and was told that her insurance was accepted so we brought her in for appointment was given a $400 bill after the fact because they’re billing department did not send back to Medicaid for them to cover the bill on her secondary insurance instead of the insurance from the employer. I’ve been coming here for the past 4 years and over time have become more and more disappointed. My 5 month old has had a plethora of issues since being born and Dr. Kim has helped with him, I will not deny that. Dr. Weinberger was not helpful with him at all, she has a very anxious personality and is not a good fit for any anxious mother. They kicked my kids out of their practice because we wouldn't help them fill their quota. They are all about $. I am so glad I didn't listen to them 5 years ago when they were trying to experiment on my kids!!!
If you have a completely healthy child then this office might be fine for you. If all you need is immunizations and school physicals and wellness check-ups then Coastal will be able to provide that for you. However, as soon as you hit a bump in the road in your baby’s health, they will be completely unhelpful, uncurious and unmotivated to figure out what’s going on.
