Went in to get a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist. Everyone told me it would be a very easy, simple procedure. The nurses hit my arm a lot because they couldn't find my vein, which I didn't realize was an outdated practice but was certainly uncomfortable and made my skin red. They eventually gave up anyway and put the needle in my hand instead. The surgery was fast which I thought was good. After the surgery I had a fast BP drop that made me very nauseated. Stephen was a good surgeon (my ganglion excision took 7 minutes and healed well) but things did feel a bit rushed in the time leading up to surgery and very cut off afterwards. It's much better when providers establish more rapport with their patients to ease their stress levels and actually care what happens to them. His pre-op/post op doctor wasn't very good. I was told that this should be an easy surgery. When it wasn't, I was told during post-op (stitches removal) that he had never seen someone have the physical reaction... read more

He won't take work comp cases, he rather have you in pain than so he can make more money from insurance carriers. Well it's been 2 1/2 years and I finally found a reputable doctor, he's located in Fresno 380 miles from my house 7 hrs straight driving. I'm handicap and it takes me about 10 hours to get there. THANK YOU MR SAW BONES
