He is so compassionate. He put in my trach. It was a very large trach but I needed it. I got so frustrated I needed to be suctioned all the time could talk it was uncomfortable, I felt like I could breathe for some reason. Finally I wrote him a message please do something or tell me how to take it out. So at our next appointment he grabbed a different trach and ask if I wanted to try it or have him just take it out. Dr. Maxwell and his staff were amazing. It was a very scary time for me and my family and Dr. Maxwell was calming and kind. He went back through my records from previous years and found something on an x-ray that had been missed previously. This find was very helpful in deciding what our next steps would be. His staff was just as wonderful to work with. Always attentive, kind and returned calls in a very timely matter. I highly recommend Dr. Maxwell.
Three years ago Dr. Maxwell performed my fundoplication surgery. The first time I met him it was obvious he already knew my history and was prepared to discuss my surgery. He sat down and looked directly at me, not a computer. The results of the surgery have been more than I expected. He is one of the best doctors I have ever visited and I highly recommend him.
