They have great style here - NOT I was in town for a while & my roots were growing in. I went to Stephen's & they just could not get my color right. I have platinum blond hair & the color came out really dull looking. It always looks very bright. It also felt dry until I was able to get to another hair place to get it fixed. This is definitely not the place to go to for rock star hair.
Wonderful Salon I've had my hair cut and styled at Stephen's & Co. since I was 6 years old. I have never had a bad hair cut at this Salon. Stephen and his stylists are the nicest people who could ever own and run a hair salon and no matter who your stylist is they always do an excellent job. A personal experience in my life was when I had my hair fall out do to an illness and Stephen and his stylists went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome in a safe environment when I had to shave my head. Great Salon I travel from Boston to get my hair cut at Stephen's despite all of the "great" salons supposedly here. The people are so friendy, the salon is nice and clean, and the price is right (which is completely opposite from the Boston salons!).
Love this place I started going here about a year ago and love it. I have gone there for hair color/cuts, facials, manicures and massages. All the services I have gotten there have been fantastic.
Try it You'll LOVE it! I've been going to Stephen's off and on for 30 years. My first experience there was so memorable because I felt like a movie star. At 15, (and for my birthday) my Mom finally let me get a perm but on the condition that we have a consultation with Stephen first. He sat me down and asked me what type of look I was hoping for, and he called over another stylist (think it was Eric?) to concur, and I scheduled an appointment. Great salon....Luv it I have been to many salons but I stick with Stephen and Co. I have been going there for the past 4 years and I love my stylists work. I started seeing Jessica but slowly transitioned to Steph who is a more experienced stylist. The salon has just went through a series of greatly needed renevations and it does not seem as hectic and crowded there anymore so check it out. U will luv it.
Going Back I was a client of Stephen & Company for 5 years and left about 3 years ago. My hair always looked great and since leaving it leaves a little bit to be desired. The ONLY reason I left was because of the rising cost of getting my hair done, my stylist had graduated to a senior stylist, and I lost my job. great spot!!! I have been to this salon many times and the staff has always been wonderful. The first time I was referred by a friend and a few times I have been there to donate hair to Locks of Love. They make you feel welcome and relaxed and seem to know what each individual needs and wants. Thanks to everyone who works there!
Super Cuts disguised I don't know what to make of this place. The atmosphere is like a salon in Boston, but the hair cut I received was to be desired. My hair looked like someone grabbed my pony tail and hacked it off with a dull knife. Everyone that seen my hair totally agreed. It was so strange, a salon that had somewhat of a good reputation among the locals allowed me to leave w/the cut that looked so bad.
